This series is a reflection of memories from a 7-day trip to Japan in 2017. From the shine of the golden Kinkaku-ji Temple in Kyoto to the endless walls of beautiful calligraphy at the National Art Center in Tokyo, these of 11×14 and 6×6 inch paintings together build a metaphor for a collection of experiences, tastes, sights and sounds in one slice of time.
