My work explores the inner world through a balance of representational subjects and abstract expression. Inspired by the big cities I’ve called home, world travels, and the ongoing process of healing, I aim to capture the tension between movement and stillness, chaos and quiet.
When working abstractly, I blend intuitive exploration with technical precision using acrylic and ink. Through color, texture, and motion, I create immersive, nature-inspired forms. I often layer in figures and geometric structures using delicate line work to reflect the dialogue between curiosity and intentionality. When storytelling through representational imagery takes the lead, I draw from my background in realism and life drawing to depict faces, figures, and symbolic elements.
Across approaches, the result is a visual narrative of emotion—sometimes mine, sometimes what I imagine others might feel. I aim to create space for reflection, wonder, and at the very least, aesthetic pleasure, as viewers are immersed in the many layers and details of each piece.
